Filters
Filters alter each pixel's colour based on its current colour and the colours of its neighbour pixels. The reuslt can vary from a minor adjustment to a totally transformation of an image's appearance.

This image looks like is placed behind a glass to produce this distorted effect. It is produced by using Adobe PhotoShop 5 filtering command with distort and glass.

This is motion-blur effect. It is somewhat similar as what you will in geometric wind operation effect.

This is my favourite image effect. It is created by applying filtering with Artistic Neon Glow

This image doesn't look pleasant to me. It is the product after applying Adobe PhotoShop 5 filtering with Artistic WaterColour function. It looks like as if it was painted with watercolour. This is the magic of image processing.

In this image, first i a choose a selection area around the face of the lady, then applied filtering with Noise, Dust and Scratches. So that the face was being 'blur'. This idea is come from a currently well-known Japanese horror movie.

*note: To achieve the filter effect, I used Adobe Photoshop 5's filter function.
